AUSTDOOR EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATE IN VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION

On the morning of July 2, Austdoor Group cooperated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to organize a humanitarian blood donation program called “From heart to heart” at Austdoor’s headquarters in Hanoi. This activity has received enthusiastic response from employees with the desire to contribute to the blood reserve which is increasingly depleted due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.

The program was jointly organized by the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and Austdoor, in compliance with the principles of epidemic prevention

Responding to the call, hundreds of employees who are healthy and qualified to donate blood enthusiastically registered to participate. During the blood donation session, the organizers adhered to the 5K rule, fully implemented temperature checks, medical declarations, disinfected hands, wore masks, and maintained distance.

Pham Thi Minh Man, an employees of ADG shared: “Five years ago, my mother was seriously ill and needed a lot of blood. Thanks to a blood transfusion, my mother’s life was saved. Being aware of the importance of saving lives, every year, I participate in blood donation and mobilize people to participate in this humanitarian activity.”

Austdoor Group said that at other facilities of the group in Hung Yen, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai, staff members also want to participate in blood donation. However, the epidemic situation in these provinces is still complicated, the group will hold events when conditions allow. “Donating blood to save lives is a meaningful action that will be replicated and continued by ADG to contribute to supporting patients and the community,” said a representative of Austdoor Group. From the beginning of 2020 until now, Austdoor Group (ADG) has organized many meaningful activities, accompanying the people and white shirt “soldiers” in repelling and overcoming the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic such as: Donating equipment and materials to frontline facilities against epidemics (hospitals, isolation areas); Supporting essential necessities for people in epidemic-hit areas; Calling for support for the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund and finding vaccine sources for employees… This July, ADG continues its volunteering journey with a donation of 200 million VND for Yen My district, Hung Yen province where the complicated epidemic situation is happening and launched the humanitarian blood donation program “From heart to heart”. “.
